Default 944 taking off and braking sounds like I'm driving over gravel

Hi Everyone,

So, I've been driving my 944 around for a bit and have noticed something strange.
When I take off, it sounds like my rear tyres are driving over gravel slowly i.e the crunch crunch crunch noise. Similar story when braking at low speeds to a complete stop. I mainly notice this, in stop start traffic.
I have absolutely no idea what this could be, it doesn't feel terrible. But, the sound really puts me off.

Anyone got any ideas?

Caliper sticking? check your pads and rotors and see if there is grooving in the metal of the rotor.

CV joints? See if the boots have split and the grease has spun out.
