Did a quick search. It appears as if I may have wasted my time. Please prove me wrong.

BTW-
You should have sold the N/A to whomever bid $6100, IMHO.

well it dint reach the reserve, thats why ididnt sell it, the yellow one is like new and i have done major service to it. i will not sell it for less than 8K or it will stay home for the next 20 years. it may be a true collectible then, if i keep it at 50000 miles.

No way for 8000$. Yes it has work and paint that could add up that much. The car itself will not sell for 8000$ unless you find a rich kid that knows nothing about these cars. Yes the car is mint. Not for 8k I would have taken the 6k or so for that. For 8000 you can have an great condition 1986 Turbo.

Also the paint wasn't done right to make the car a 10 on the paint scale. Should have painted the whole car not just the exterior.

the only part of the car that was not painted is the engine area, thats aout it, everywhere else is done, thats an original ferrari yellow, it was going to be painted red, but when i got there they had just painted this 355 spider and it just blew me away, so i decided to go with the yellow.
about 8K thats cheap for the condition, if you have ever been on ebay, they sold some low mileage ones with regular boring red and no t belt service for 9500$ , plus iam offering 50% shipping. like i said, it will not sell cheap, or it stays

Good luck on selling the car. I'm inclined to agree with holding out for the money you think the car is worth. Thats probably why my NA hasn't sold lol .....maybe I'll ebay mine too...

Mike,
Can you tell me/us what you spent on the Turbo? I purchased mine a year ago, and I'm curious to see what the market is like.

"by the way, i will keep you updated about the 951, i will take it to the dyno next week,"

With stock AFM in place? With higher and higher boost, the AFM presents a greater restriction to intake air-flow. Costs about -20 to -30-hp @ 15psi, -25-35hp @ 18psi, around -30-40hp@ 20psi. So I'm guessing he'll get around 300rwhp.

Mike, consider that a 944NA puts down about 125rwhp, and a lightly modified 951 puts down 240rwhp, that's about double the power. A SIGNIFICANT increase. In fact, 390rwhp would be TRIPLE the power you were used to... be careful...

"With the new 18 psi guru chip, 951's are making 280 whp? WOW.. can't wait to install that baby..."

The TurboS cars are getting that much (310rwhp@18psi with our MAP upgrade). Check out the DynoCharts section on our GURU forums. Non-S cars will be closer to 235-245rwhp; the spread between TurboS and non-S cars remains about the same.
