Speaker Re-Wiring, Skipping CD's, Vinyl Dye and Black Carpet that isn't

A new head unit and speakers should clear most of that up depending on what is causing the static. I'm thinking now one of my speakers in the door is blown.
FYI - I bought two cans of Vinyl and Carpet paint at my local automotive paint supply store, satin black. I'll be applying to the carpet and doors tomorrow and see what happens. I did a test run on the carpet...WOW, itl ooks like it's suppossed to!
Also, I hope to on Sunday get to wiring the doors. At some point soon I'll move to the back speakers.
