Exclamation Don't buy this 951!

They are trying it again. Check the VIN and the mileage is way over 61k. And they're doing a private auction again. I e-mailed them about it the first time they listed the car, and they didn't deny that the mileage was incorrect.
scam

Turbo Carrera, huh

Otherwise, nice looking ride. I like the Porsche script seats and 968 mirrors. Shoulda done the door handles with it.

You think? I would say $6000 be the mid range for that car. $8000 being the top limit and $4000 being a steal. It is only an '86 and who knows about the records on it.

This is the 3rd time I have seen this car on ebay, something is up with it.
They never give any reason why its 'won' then put back on ebay.

Shill bidding is why it is "won" and then relisted.

If you guys think there is shill bidding going on report it to eBay. Car should not be relisted 3 times without some justifiable reason.

I'd stray away from eBay cars unless you can inspect & drive before bidding/winning. Everyone should know better than to even consider a Porsche sight unseen. I'm glad that I didn't fall victim - I was fortunate enough to get a great deal through a private owner who listed in Yahoo Classifieds. Plus, these guys usually know little to nothing about the cars they sell - most are fresh from the auction. You know the old saying "buyer beware!" Ebay for parts and accessories is unbeatable in most cases. I'm not saying that every 944 that comes across eBay is junk, but we all know this is a car that should be thoroughly inspected before even considering a purchase.

I believe the other badge says "Carrera," hence my previous post
