Got another oddball color from 89. My 89 Turbo is officially something like U2U2 "Gold Metallic" on the window sticker. Turns out this apparently '89 -only color is really an Audi paint better known as "Bamboo Metallic". I've had significant struggles trying to find a paint jobber who get even close to a match.

I love my black S2. but its just to hard to keep clean. I am actually thinking about repainting it Signal Orange or Gulf blue.
anyways back on topic. we have a Marschachino(sp) red/Linen 951s some into the shop. I actually offered to buy it from the guy since it hadn't been driven in a year and looked like it was kept uncovered in a garage during that time. But the plus side was that it only had 88,000 miles on it

About 7 years ago, while picking up a 928 motor from a P-car repair shop in Delaware I saw a blue 88 TS. But I don't remember that it was ocean blue. Anyone have a picture of an ocean blue car?
The car I saw had a dent on the passengers door, light color sport seats and they wanted 12k for it.
