OOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT MY ENGINE TO LOOK LIKE THAT!!!!! That would SOOOO match my car! You might be getting an email from me very shortly!....

By the way, what have you noticed with that Cone Filter? I was considering doing that, but ive heard it adds nothing? How is the sound in comparison?

Blue S2, reportedly the aftermarket air filter is a nice addition in that you get more engine sound.

DOOD! I would not hesitate to serve up a side of bacon, eggs, and hash browns on that motor and chow down. Powder coat is AMAZING stuff, no? Amazing detail work, man. Kudos.

What's with the airbox in front of the motor? Is that an S2 thing or a mod? Tony, that detail work would TOTALLY rock on your car...

It's "an S2 thing" in that there is no intercooler. The stock filter, however, is a big a$$ unit that takes up considerably more space than the aftermarket cone filter aribop replaced it with.

I appreciate all the kind comments guys. It's taken the better part of 3 months of weekend work. Now I'm trying to finish up the suspension and hopefully get her on the road soon.

Steve C, I wish those were metric AN fittings. That is actually a SS fuel line kit from Travis @ Rennbay. The blue on the ends is a new spray paint that is supposed to mimic anodize. I guess it came out O.K.
