What's with all you guys wanting to delete your air conditioner?
Do you all race your cars and need to save a few pounds of extra weight or does it never get warm enough in your part of the world to warrant air conditioning. I couldn't live without mine for at least 8 months of the year.

Mine is not a daily driver, mostly an autocross car / weekend playtoy.
I hardly ever used the AC, even when it had a charge in it. No need to have all of that extra crap under the hood if it is never used. My car was basically bare bones from the factory anyway other than the AC. I like it like that!

My AC is broken anyway...and I dont really use it, so I figured I might as well just toss it.
I have my AC compressor, but I'm not sure if its what was leaking R134A or something else...make me an offer.

Mine didn't work when I removed it. Or rather mine didn't blow very cold air and since I live in Northern Ohio where it is warm (at most) for maybe a month out of the year I figured why carry around the extra 50 lbs. If I was still living in South Florida however I would have had the system recharged/repaired and left it in place since it gets freakin' hot and humid down there.

Erich, not sure. I am on the fence on this one but the price is too good to pass up. If I have cleatance issues with the big turbo and alternator, I might just have to use a delete kit. For $100 its money well spent. Send me an email at r_datta@yahoo.com. I have some goodies lined up and wanted to check with you.

968turboS,
if you have a inlet of 2.75, you will most likely have a clearance issue(not serious but will at least kink your hose connectors). Depends on your J pipe I guess. Here's a shot for reference/ my motivation for making the bracket.
doens't exactly accurately portray the clearance issue I have, but you can at least get an idea for the tight fit.
VERSUS
Please excuse the dirty motor. It's much cleaner now.

Luke how about this, I have a 4 inch inlet . Its a GT30 turbo. I used to have a K27/11 with a 2.75 inch inlet but that is long gone.
Its a backup plan in case I can't make the inlet fit even though I have been told it can be done.
Regards.
