Cool Well that was easy....

Finaly got some time to change the left front ball joint on my car. Job was a piece of cake, don't think it took more than an hour or so. While I was at it, turned over the bolts on the right ball joint that had been replaced before I bought the car. Had the bolts going up from the bottom, with the nuts on top. At extreme turning angle, the steering knuckel hit the center bolt. Took the car on a spirited drive down the turnpike this morning, all felt good, but bumpy roads will tell me if the "K-thump" is gone.
Old aviation practice, if you don't know which way the bolt goes in, put it in the way that if the nut falls off, the bolt won't fall out. Oh well, all is safe in metropolis now.
