That is a sweet looking car in great condition! But for that amount of cash id rather have a 968 or 951S...

My biggest problem with that car is that it's so clean I'd be afraid to drive it! And I just don't believe in owning a car that I wouldn't be willing to daily drive.

So, for that kind of money, I'd rather buy a regular 914 and build up my own six-cylinder version...

If the car checks out as advertised, and as clean as it is, I would think it's going into the 30's. Not very many left around, much less in this good a shape.

I know that the fours never came with a crest. Not sure about the sixes, though...

they didnt come with crests. that is a GORGEOUS example, and i'd love to own it. i wouldnt be scared to drive it. in fair weather. i'd just be afraid to wash it, i'd be in there with cotton swabs to get all the water out! its in blue too, my favorite color.

no fair!

if you're on the list and buy this car, i'm your new best friend.

I'm with BB. While that is a VERY, VERY clean example of the breed, thirty grand is insane. ****, twenty is too much. I'd buy a rat and build my own 3.0L six that would be a lot cheaper than that. Still a goddamn fine example of the breed...

Well 20-30 grand is insane FOR US... I'm thinking of starting a 914 project car in the next year or two... and on my budget, 20-30 grand is insane! But look at those able to blow close to half a million on a Carrera GT, and there are some on this board! 20 or 30 grand is petty cash.

A fine example either way!

(though personally, I'd spend the extra dough and fork over $40k for that 500hp V8 914 racecar for sale in the classifieds)
