If there is to be a comparison of wires vs wires, please note the overall impact of age on the those tested. Life-cycle management is another of Porsches goals - they build past the 3/36 warranty period. The reliance on resistive wires or capacitive ends may not be what is best for the long haul. I'll keep my opinions to myself this time... just this once, though

matt-
i know i know. i have 2 other cars available.. so for now, if something big were to go wrong with teh 944, i wouldnt need to sell it because i dont have enough money to fix... i can save up when i need to and let it sit while doing so.. right now, the 944 is my free time project.. and i'd rather have that then a honda anyday. i know what its like. 1 of my other cars is a range rover, and that is more expensive than these to take care of. I know you didnt mean much by it, but i just want you to watch when you flame because some of us are doing our best to have fun with one of these cars, whatever it may take money wise.... for me , moneys not the point. But dont get me wrong. I do understnad your point, and im plenty aware that its not the easiest or smartest thing to make endevours with so little money, but im doing my best.
thanks.

I got you! You really need to have another car or two with these (though my last one was my DD for 3 years).

Robby I had Nology Hotwires before Mag's and I replaced only because of age, they also require a gound. I myself would save the money and go w/ the Mag's and by NGK iridium IX, made a big difference for me. Good Luck. Scott

Scott- thanks for the input- I'd always wondered if hte nology's were worth the $, but, they're so expensive I really can't afford to try them... I just bought a new set of Magnecors & Beru plugs w/new cap & rotor- maybe a strange combo, but, I followed someone else's advice- I THINK I used Bosch platinum's last time- that was >3yrs ago, so I can't really remember, other than I KNOW they were Magnecor wires...

Skip, that's one reason I feel so strongly about Magnecores. Most of these wire comparisons were wires straight out of sealed packages.
