Which one, the one on the radiator?
On my car it was replaced with a metal bolt and a washer. Works fine so long as you don't over tighten it.
If you mean the one on the block, you should be able to find a bolt that fits at a hardware store or something.

I thought it had a plastic plug from the dealership. Mine has a bolt.
So if it came with a plastic plug, somebody must be able to get them.

Havnt looked at it for a while, but IIRC mine is steel with a kind of "plastic"'washer.
I would not trust plastic plugs at these temperatures...

Hrm, mine is a bolt with a 15mm head. When I had it out, it looked like it had a 1.25 thread pitch, but that's just a guess.
It had a metal washer on it, instead of a plastic one.
I have seen plastic plugs on many other cars, including my subaru and my mazda. Never had any issues, provided you don't over tighten them.
Plus, you can never strip out the hole on the rad, extra bonus =)

Mine is blue plastic.

Mine was broke in half when I bought the car. Needless to say it popped out one night driving home. It was winter dark and 30 degrees outside. I was pissed that the PO did not replace a 7 dollar plug. Left me stranded at rush hour.

But the plug I ordered was also blue plastic.

Just out of curiosity how does one snap in half?

There is so much weird crap in this car I'm just trying to figure out what the PO was thinking.

OO and the car was in Dallas TX, so no excuses about not finding parts.
