When you re-attached the grounds, did you clean them nice? Are there any other electrical issues?

Other than that, I doubt these are related to your work

I have the occasional issue with the headlights not coming down when its wet out. A light tap on the relay attached to the headlight motor always fixes it. Might want to check there.

Dan M is correct..when things start to go wonky with electrical circuits, the first place to go to is grounds..There are ground sites on the frame rails (both sides) up front that run the headlight circuits and several others as well. Take all the brown wires off the posts, clean up all the brass ends and the posts and re-connect..should be better..There's also a major grounding site in the rear of the car, driver's side..probably needs cleaning too. just sayin.. Hope this helps some..
