Yes na. For an Sp1 build. Not sure if tolerances. Never really concerned myself with that. Just put used pistons in a used block and was done with it

LOL, there are three different ID cylinders, 0,1 and 2.

Likewise, there are pistons, tolerance group 0, 1 and 2.

A group -0- piston would be way loose in group 2 block.

Tell you what I have, this is the backup (accumulated and machined parts yet unassembled) to our backup.

I have the high compression 1988 NA piston set, recoated with Swain Tech anti friction on the side skirts and a block that was honed and lapped to proper clearance for these pistons.

Pistons are available separately or I have as a set, the pistons you want, with skirt coating and the block that these pistons were machine shop fitted to as a package.

In Spec, being that allowable mods are very limited, you'd want the foundation of your engine build to be solid, factory spec piston/cylinder fit.

I also have an as raced 200+ track hour engine with 150hrs on the cylinder head refresh, good oil pressure, no smoke, less cam and cam housing that I would let go cheap.
Many wins and a few track records SP2, as removed from the car.
Already has oil pickup skirt and pan baffle.
Coated rod bearings.

Really rather not ship an engine, but I'd ship the fresh honed block/coated piston combo.
I have stock polished crank at +
And set of checked/balanced turbo rods at ++
With block and pistons, included free are factory standard Glyco rod bearings with the Swain moly coat.

Don't know if pics work in a PM and I don't have your email,

As described, late pistons, 10.2:1 CR, glass bead blasted, Swain Tech Coatings PC9 Moly coating on skirts, ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating in piston tops (TBC).
With pins and circlips.

Block is finish bored and honed using correct procedure specs and tooling.
'86 block, balance shaft covers included.

All cylinders look the same, any vertical marks that show in pics are from fitting rings (which are included) and are cosmetic,
