Although my Jetta is all iced over. I went out last night and played in the snow, since this is the first chance to use my snow tires since I bought them almost two months ago...

Oh, and I like 'em!

What it was looking like when I got back from playing last night.

Sorry for the worthless pics, I just got back from shovelling and my brain if frozen...

Keeps the rubber from freezing to the glass. If you've ever tried to pull your wiper away to scrape your window and the rubber part stay's attached, you start doing this. Handy little trick.

Down here in the south, we don't get snow. It's always 70 and sunny!

I considered it, but opted not to. I might need their help down the road!

Anywho, I just got back from driving around out there. I LOVE my snow tires! It was fun to pass the lumbering SUVs who were slipping and sliding all over the place! Were it not that it would be a mind-numbingly stupid thing to do, I'd search out some Camaros or riced-out Civics and throw them a couple revs and see if they'd take the bait.

BeerBurner...

Looks like you put too much soap in the windshield washer resevour!!!

The cold weather is pushing down all the birdies that usually live in your neck of the woods... now... my car is covered in "white" too!!!

You know a man has his priorities right when the 944 is cosy in the garage and the 911 doesn't even have a car cover

Cheers,
Sach

Even if the HOA allowed car covers, I think in my case, they'd be more trouble than they're worth. Already it's a huge game of musical cars just to get my 944 out of the garage!

Thing is, though, the only real reason that the 944 is in the garage is because it has new paint, while the 911's paint is original and.....aged.

You should have taken the 911 out for a little snow joy ride. The weight is in the right place and I am sure it would have been a fun ride. Also, I love the wiper trick, I am a big fan of it myself up here in NH!!!! Best wishes and stay warm - Jay Gratton

I love driving 911's in the snow. Unfortunately, I'm not willing to trust the other boneheads out there to not plow into her...
