Cliff, forget black. It's a terribly time consuming finish to keep looking half decent (don't ask how I know...) If you're going to be in charge of keeping her car clean, I'd persuade her to get a metallic color. Silver on black is nice and looks particularly good on these cars.

I'll second the black finish, you have to wax every time you wash.

I have his and hers porsche's. The best thing about that is you do not have to let her drive your car.
