Sport Seats?

I've got two sets of early factory sport seats (one set in my '84 944 and one set for the Gen'l Lee), a set of non sport full power seats in the 968 and a set of cheapie "ricer racer" seats in the yellow track car. The sport seats rock, the seats in the 968 are almost as good. The cheap seats, well, they are cheap...

I've got Sparco Pro 2000's coming in sometime in the next week. I loved how big the bolsters were, and I'm into the whole weight saving thing, so that was a plus. Agreed with whoever posted it though, if I had my choice it'd be GT3 seats. But they are just to damn expensive.

Check these out:
Hardshell option CPK 700
I didn't know these were out there - anyone know how much they cost? I could only find info at Konig's website

944Pete The seats that came out of my '89S2 are blue and I believe they might be sport seats, it's been a while since I've seen them but I'll check if you are interested.

Man, another old ressurrected post. Strange.
Anyway, I vote "other". I have the Corbeau Forza Seats (that I got from Scott H above) and love them. They are very comfortable for a full race fixed-back seat, and offer tons of support. Very light at 17lbs each.

FWIW, I never ended up getting a set of sport seats. Instead, I kept the stock non-sport seats and spent my 951 money on a Vitesse stage 2 kit, 55lb/hr injectors, a JME head and cam, a 3" exhaust, a Tial wastegate, a Zeitronix WBO2 etc etc etc...
I'm still working on assembling all of it - thankfully the only items left are the head and cam, which I am planning on having a shop install (while they also replace the waterpump, belts and rollers and re-seal the front end)
Truly depressing considering I purchased the Vitesse kit just shortly after the original post on this thread.
Its been waaay too long since I drove my 951. Or my 944 for that matter (clutch woes).
I need my 944 fix!!
EDIT: Rather, I need my 944's fixed!!

I just got a set of 968 sport seats......fit me very well, outstanding condition, and extremely fair price. I too like the idea of keeping things "factory".
I'm going to sell the factory non-sport seats that came out of the car. I thought I'd offer them here first, they'll go on Ebay next week. Black, 4 way electric/manual drivers & manual passingers. Any offers??
I'd rather not ship, the drivers side weighs 55lbs. I'm 1 hour south of Pittsburgh, but I'll be in Buffalo all next week if anyone would want to try to do a face to face up there.....I'll haul 'em up. Let me know!
