Question Who sells Kahn wheels?

I really had my heart set on these wheels. The only place that I could find who sold them was Edge Racing . They stopped carrying Kahn wheels 6 months ago. Does anyone know who in the US is a distributor for these? I could get them direct from Kahn in the UK but I'll be looking at $1000 in shipping. Yikes!
Here's what they look like:

Wow, sexy choice Pete. Be sure to get some 968 front caster blocks with those.

This is what I was referring to in the thread about courtesy shipping between Rennlisters. I'm sure there's bound to be someone in the U.K. who will travel to your part of the U.S. in the near future...

If they had them in Spain and you lived closer to, say, Florida, I would gladly bring them for you myself!

From the Kahn Design website (www.kahndesign.com):

Outside Europe
Tel: 01144 1274 749999
Fax: 01144 1274 733355

kahn@kahndesign.com
enquiries@kahndesign.com

Email them and ask who their authorized distributor(s) are in the US.

I did email them and asked who distributes these wheels in the USA. Here is all I got.

Dear Pete
Thanks for your email, we certainly make the RSR in a fitment to put on the 944. Your car was built around the time that Porsche changed its wheel fitments can you tell me what fitment your original wheels are i.e (you will have an ET number stamped on the back of the wheel). If you wish to discuss this further please call me on +44 1274 749999.

The price including transport to your door and tyres mounted is £1700.00.

The price including transport to your door but no tyres is £1277.00 (you may be able to get tyres cheaper in the states) 225/40/18 on the front and 265/35/18 on the rear.

Regards

David Duncan
Kahn Design Ltd

Using current exchange rates the wheels & shipping are $2350.82 USD, Edge racing was selling these for $1120 for all four.

The current D90's are going to be auto-x wheels.

I hope you find them. I was planning on looking for a set when/if I get a turbo.

I'll keep searching. I really want something a little different on this car instead of the usual twist or cup wheels. I like a 5 spoke design and can't afford Ruf wheels. These really fit the image I have in mind for the car.
I'll let you know if I find them.

Ask around on the Audi forums. Appearantly that's the most popular rim to put on a TT.

ok, skip them.
If they are used by some toy-sport car like TT, we don't need 'em. (just kiddin'.. , or am I .. )
Try 3.6 Turbo wheels..

my favourite !

oh well, it's just me
