Default How much are the early 944 fuchs worth?

I know some fuchs are worth a lot, but I don't know if these are. They are the stock ones from a early 85 944na. What is the going rate. Also, what is the offset of these?

Early offset Fuchs are worth next to nothing, send them to me and I'll dispose of them for you

You didn't mention what sizes they are or their condition. All Fuchs wheels are early offset. A few sizes (Some 8s, and most wider sizes) were odd offsets but most wheels are 23mm. Any presentable wheel will start ~$175-200 (including the 15x7s that are most likely to be what is on your car) and some sizes can be well over $500 each.

What your address

I'm thinking they are 15''. Could be 16'' though but they aren't wide. I wanna say maybe a 205 tire is on there. They are on my little brothers 944. He just turned sixteen and talked my mom into a beat up 944 for twice the price its worth. He doesnt even like the fuchs but I love em. Anyway, they aren't in bad shape, as far as the lip. The center part could use refinishing though.

Would just painting these be a bad idea?

Did different size fuchs come on 944s?

IIRC, Both 15" and 16" were available as options on the NA cars, but I've heard different things about width. I'm pretty sure that the 16" set is 16x7 all around, the 15" is either 15x7 or 7's front/8's rear. $175 for 15x7, $200/16x7 or 15x8, $250-300/16x8 is pretty standard pricing, 16x8 is either a 951 wheel (23mm offset) or 911 wheel (10mm offset), either will fit an early NA and both go for the above price.

Paint shouldn't hurt the value if they are in poor shape, paint stripper can remove it when you want to refinish them right. If they are in decent condition don't do it. A little fading of the center is not that big a deal, it has to be pretty grey before the value takes a hit.

Here's a Fuchs pic, 16x7. Early NA's Fuchs option was 15x7 front 15x8 rear.

I can be very tough to find one. I searched a long time for my turbo but it has been well worth the wait.
