Default Speedo Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was putting on my white face gauges today. All was going well when I was getting off the needles, doing it carefully and all when I got to my speedo one. I just broke in half!! Now I don't have a speedo for my car! Can I put a new little metal thing that the needle goes on or what? Please say I don't have to buy a all new gauge panel, if so, anyone have one to sell? If I but a new one, can I just switch out JUST the speedo and keep the rest of my gauges?? ANY!!! help would be great.

you can buy just a speedo, the gauges are available separately. I don't think that you can replace the needle.

You can replace the needle it is part of the movement. The movement cost about 125 but good luck finding one. There is a VDO place in Houston that has them occassionally. At any rate buying a new "used" cluster is cheaper I paid 35 dollars for mine.

OK, so I buy a "used" gauge cluster. That has everything on it? If so, can I just swap out the speedo into mine then? Where is a good place to buy the cluster? I would like to get one with same milage. Is there a way to actually get one with less miles and turn it up? I have heard of a safety thing that comes down in front of the numbers if you try and turn DOWN the milage. ANYBODY selling ??..
