Hey Dan,

What is the cost of the Cibie lenses and some 55/60 watt bulbs? I have a 944 NA and a 951 that needs some help in the lighting department?

I may be interested in 2 sets.

Sure Jon, a postal money order is just fine, actually better than a regular check since they don't bounce. And they are cheap at 90 cents a check.

You don't have a 951 so the install will be a lot quicker since you have some room to work in and don't need to pull the alternator out. My '88 951S was my test mule that I took most of the step by step instructions from and why instructions mention jacking up the front of the car. You will be able to do the install easy as pie.

I am going by memory here, but there are quite a few full headlight kits in the NYC/NJ area. You should hook up with one of those guys for a beer, take a look at the results and get their comments and tricks they learned.

Oh wait, 18 YO, what is the drinking age out there. Maybe sodas.

Andrew, Due to the crashing dollar against the euro the Cibies went up to $100 for a pair ($50 each) without bulbs on my last order and that is what you can have them for. I don't know what will happen when I order more since the Euro keeps climbing.

For the 55/60 watt bulbs, I would probably go with the 30% boosted European Phillips/Narva bulbs for $10 each. Or you can go with the European Osram BiLux 50% boosted 55/60 for quite a bit more, something like $20 a bulb. These are not "ultra-white, blue, brighter than the Sun" scam bulbs, they are the real deal. I'm not sure on the BiLux price since I haven't ordered them for awhile so don't have a recent price. I was selling them for about $15 a bulb while they went in Europe for about $25USD but not sure what the exchange rate has done. Marc G. recently got 6 of these BiLux bulbs for this P-Cars and really likes them so you can ask him if they are worth the extra bucks.
