Powerhaus now claims to have a boosted 3.0L with 16valves and Variocam: Powerhaus. They're missing the magic word "budget" however.

BTW, very nice cars!

Do you happen to have a pic of these "forged" 968 rods? My understanding is that all 968 rods are cast. Educate me please.

Pistons and rods are forged, and the pistons had oil squirters underneath as well. They then bumped the CR up to 11:1.

Why do you believe they are cast?

I downloaded a Panorama (august 92) article on 968.net a few years ago. The 968 engine is well described there. It claim that the rods are forged. I have actually never heard someone claim they are cast before. The S2 are heavily discussed though...
