1989 S2 Coupe /9-28-2000/56,600 mi/11500 no paint work ever, new belts, new clutch 1 week later for 600 (split with dealer)

Now the answer to the question all are asking.

forget what you paid, what do you have into it?
$26,000 and counting on 9-1-03 the day before it was stolen. (new motor, koni yellows, SSI ball joints, boxster take offs w/ pilot sports, alt, -a/c conversion, 12 way seats, stereo & spkrs, etc - still no paintwork ever, and it shined like new).

And,

1986 944na/Oct 2001/109K miles/$7400

Then I started seeing prices on Rennlist and felt bad that I way overpaid. But I've since realized 1) 944s in the midwest cost more than those on the coasts and 2) I've driven it for 2 years with no major problems (knock, knock) so I don't feel bad anymore and just enjoy it!

1987 951/I forget when 2003/195K miles/3900 dollars

One small dent, car ran like a champ when I got it. Currently undergoing beast conversion. From quick to fast in only 5K dollars.

1987 944 8v na / Feb. 2000 / 83k miles / $8k

The car was beautifully documented (still have the dealer window sticker) and the interior was immaculate. The paint, well, it was old, red paint. I figure I probably paid about $1-1.5k over it's real value for it. However, I was planning on spending a fair amount to replace the wheels since I don't like the phone dials. Fortunately, this car had perfect Boxster wheels with new MXX3 rubber, so as far as I was concerned, it was a wash.
