I just wanted to share that my long term project (over a year and a quarter now) of fixing a S2 Cab that suffered from an engine fire with parts from a 86 951 is finally drawing to a close. Last night, for the first time in over a year, the 951 engine started up (first try!) in the S2. I still have quite a bit of wiring work to do, but it is coming along nicely. THe car did idle at 2,500 rpms but I believe I need to adjust the throttle line. Just wanted to share my excitement and thank all the rennlisters who have helped me get so far! I will keep you posted on progress! If anyone knows of any reasons for the high idle, please post, thanks!
