Default What is the stock clutch thickness on a turbo clutch?

After pulling the motor I'm inspecting the clutch and it looks like there's a lot of material left there, but I wanted to check it against the stock thickness. Right now I'm measuring 0.325-0.322" in thickness. Anyone have an unused stock one lying around that they can measure?

Mike:

The new dimension is 8.1 mm. It is worn out if less than 6.3 mm.

Thanks cruise98. Looks like mine is practically brand new with it measuring around 8.2mm (probably calibration issue with the mic....its old). Phew...that's one more expense I don't have to worry about.

You are welcome.

Good luck with the engine rebuild. Clean, clean and scrub some more! Seems like there is always more grime and slime somewhere.

mike keep in mind that the thickness is not usually what causes failure, i'm sure you'll be ok since that clutch seems like its not even used but its usually the springs the cause it.
