Anyway to diagnose a relay problem other than replacing it?
Symptom: Replaced Sunroof motor and still no electrical operation. While I was prying up on one of the two relays the motor made a sound for a split second. I replaced with the relays on my old motor and still no power. Any idea how much these relays are? Is this a dealer only relay? Hope not as the dealer is 30 miles away.

If you have access to the factory manuals there is a set up sequence as part of the upgrade instructions from the three gear box to the two gear box sun roof.

Take the relay out, pop the cover off, and manualy put the wipers in the energized position.
Since it's the sunroof, when putting the relay in get ready to pull it out, cuz if the motor moves to far you'll strip something.
Hey wait! Is this my old motor?
Garunteed it worked the day I took it out dude. And I don't think there was anything in the removal I could have done to screw it up.
Sounds like you might have a loose connection on one of the wires somewhere.

Scott, the sunroof relays on the motor are just run of the mill standard relays you an get anywhere for $5 each. Just bring them into the shop. You can pull the cover off and test them if you want, put a 12 volt current flow through post 30 and ground 85. You should see the contacts slap shut. Then see if you have continuity through 86 and 87. I think those relays also have an 87a terminal so you should have continuity with no power supplied between 86 and 87a.
There is also the complicated sunroof relay up in the fuse/relay box. That sucker costs over $100 from most places. I had mine fail and just for kicks took it apart and found a burned out circuit trace on one of the boards. I soldered that back together and everything worked fine ... 100 bucks saved.
