Another "what the heck is this thing" question

I'm sure it is something simple but I cannot find an info on the identity of the little black plastic box that sits in front of the radiator and condensor just behind the BC on the lower pass side of the main opening. I think it has at least one wire running to it. I thought it might be an SRS impact detector but I don't have airbags. Who knows what this thing is?

What kind of wire are you referring to? What is the BC?

Yea, I know it's not the oil cooler. This thing is in front of the radiator and condensor but just off to the pass. side at the bottom and tucked right up against the bumper cover.
Matt H., I have no idea what kind of wire it is but it is frayed somewhat from the airdam dragging the ground and it only goes to this box/module thing.. "BC" I mean bumper cover, sorry.

Thanks Adrial. I'll take another look tomorrow but I think there is only one wire coming from it and the brand/name/numbers in the plastic didn't lead me to believe it was anything other than stock.
The Lexus. I bought it new in '01, put 50,000 miles on it in 7 mos., bought the truck, sold my other truck, let my (now) wife drive it for 7 mos. She decided she didn't want it and I never really drove it trying to keep the miles down and eventually sold it. Worst part is I can now buy a 993 for the same $$ I bought the Lexus for. Great car. If I needed a 4 door sporty sedan it would be second on the list behind the Audi S4 or (if I could) RS4. Of course I haven't researched that class of car lately.

Yea - could be part of the whole! 360 degree radar detectors modules have transponders next to the doppler angles of the closest road diffusion gauges. Paint doesn't help them spot the Pol-lease.
