BTDT

Nobody ever believes how much stuff the 944 can hold until they see it with their own eyes... so far I've never needed to leave anything behind

I've had two bikes (wheels taken off but still in the car) at one time with a passenger and our two bags.

The most funny ride was last summer when me and my dad went to the city dump with half of my garden in plastics bags and stuffed in the car... We did get a few wierd looks then.

6 tires, 1 large toolbox, 10gal air tank, jack, stands, overnight bag and sleeping bag... NO passengers. Full roll bar, no interior, two race seats. Average track day gear.

I've transported two E-series Segwyas (cargo version) along with my luggage.

recently I did a convention in Burlington. That took every inch of space. All my luggage in the passenger space. In back, display booth, Box of catalogs, Big inclinometer display, Big box of ancillary items. and some smaller boxes. Shipping guy couldn't believe it all fit. Fly got in, and he couldn't get in the back, kept flying around my head. Of course my mielage went to hell. Don't think I did the clutch any good either.

It was a Track weekend.
2 tires
toolbox, jack, helmet and stuff
tent, sleeping bags, clothes food
cameras and junk
plus 3 people for a 200mile trip.
Still impressed my sister on the acceleration.

Home remodeling run.
5 sheets of 4x8 plywood
3 rolls of tarpaper (heavy)
10 2x4s
Luckly, the track car has 300lb helper springs.

People really look at you funny. I SOOO need a truck, but I'd have to give up my street 951.

I brought that whole tool box home from work, in the 944, 1 trip. The hatch had to be tied down, and the passenger seat was slid forward a few clicks, otherwise it fit and survived the 60 mile trip
