Better not say that on this list Seriously - I love them all... For 944s, I've owned and rebuilt 2 951s and a 931. I almost owned a 944 NA, but didn't have the money. 'Course - I still don't have the money - but, the new car was $1500 LESS then I sold my '87 911 for....
Porsches - any of them - are simply outstanding......

If you ever make it up my way - come on by. It's an open invite to you.. And - you can drive any of the Porsches in the garage. If your visit coincides with a track weekend - you can also ride there... What do you mean "parked in the driveway"???!!!!

Unfortunately, the laws of physics prevail.
And I'll be sure to look you up if I'm ever up that way!

i think that the family had gone on vacation from their house in michigan, and meanwhile the pipes up in the attic froze, causing a water park in the garage, and freezing due to the lovely mich. weather. Not a good situation im sure.... i actually took this off of rennlist a year or so ago bfore i even had a porsche.

Ummmmmm....... a "two car" garage
Seriously - if you could make it up here this month (OK - it's late notice, I know.....) In my garage are: a 993 C4 (new to me), an '89 964 C4 (Jen's "new car", even though it's old - it's new to us. It's weird deal, she drives and I fix it..?), also - a 914-6 3.0 track car flared (sold, waiting for it's new owner - but you can drive it (well, don't tell the new owner - but he's cool with it ), a '68 911L (sold - I think, pays for Jen's new old car along with my track car - so it's waiting for it's new owner to pick it up this Spring - so you can drive that too...?? Same condition as before - DON'T TELL ANYONE!!!). Gone, though is my '87 911. Was a great Porsche....
Hmmm- you know - I just read this post - and know I'm an enthusaist. GAWD - I love these cars - but for the 3 we've sold in the last month - I kind'a am a lot sad, as all three - I restored, rebuilt - and used as my daily driver...

I'd love a two-car garage. However, considering the cost of DC-area housing, well, you don't want to know what paid to get my one car garage. Which, by the way, I insisted on doing just so that I could get the 944 covered.
And I'd love to make it up there. That 914 sounds.............sexy... I've wanted one of those since I was 15! And God-willing, I'll end up with one some day! However, I've got family down for Christmas and a party at Cokie Roberts' place (a good friend knows her nanny, or something to that effect) with the new girlie on New Year's Eve. The rest of the time is spent playing with the cars. I'm booked!
But I'm very good at P-car babysitting. If you ever need someone to babysit the 914, give me a call and I'll hook you up! I'll even do it free of charge, 'cause you're a nice guy. Hell, I'll look after any of them for you!
