There's an outfit in Florida that carries all you need to DIY with composites at a reasonable price. However, the materials associated with CF are higher than fiberglass. I have the address at home somewhere. I'll try to find it for you.

I buy my stuff from www.fiberglast.com . That is a good place as far as resin and tools. When you just want CF there is no cheaper place than ebay. I purchased a roll a while back for next to nothing and for the little bit of stuff I do, I still have a ton of it.
