Default Bay Area Engine Pulling Party - Dec 28th

Not to be confused with the Bay area drive thread, I will be pulling the motor on my 1987 944 Turbo on December 28th....say 9am. I'll be providing beer and pizza for those who want to help(soda for those under age of course). Please let me know if you can make it, so that I can stock the beer fridge appropriately. All work will be done inside the garage so don't worry about getting too cold. I've got an engine hoist, 6 jack stands, engine stand and about every tool that I can think of....so hopefully it should be fairly easy. I also have a TV set up in there for football games for those of you concerned about missing a critical game. As we get closer I'll post my address and phone # for those that are attending.

So Far The following people are coming:

1)Porsche G96
2)Bill
3)1988Porsche944
4)cas951
5)oi-punx
6)MacWolfe

Looks like we'll have a great crew!

Mike, count me in. Do you need air impact tools? I have them if needed.

Mike,

I'll be able to help as well. I have tools, but nothing too specialized. Let me know what you need.

Forgot to mention, I have an engine hoist if you want to take the engine out the top.

Edit - Just re-read your post, looks like you already have one, sorry.

Thanks guys.....I'll add you to the list up top. I shouldn't need any tools. I've got a pretty large selection of stuff and I don't see any problems in the future. Maybe you guys could bring some basic stuff in case we need two of something....wrenches, sockets, wratchet....blah blah blah.

I've got a good set of air tools so that shouldn't be a problem. Just bring yourselves and some german cuss words.

Yep....that's the plan. Out the bottom. In fact I'm thinking its easier to just drop the whole suspension with the crossmember.....but we'll see. The exhaust is pretty easy, since I removed it not too long ago.

Hey Mike, is this still on? If so, I would love to come by and help out, and maybe learn a few things.

I'm actually in the process of pulling the engine in my 951 this very weekend, so I'd love to see it done once before I try it myself.

Hey I'll come - I'd be stoked to meet other enthusiasts in the area!
Oh, and I am underage, but in college, does that count for anything?
Kidding, but I'll drink anything. Can't wait to see you all there!
