Default Bay Area Get Together!!!

Well, Now that it's winter break, I think it's time for a Bay Area get together. Since weather probably won't be a problem (nice and sunny today - I was in a t-shirt) I'm thinking about having a meeting on the 27th or 28th. We could make a trip down Highway 9, or somewhere around there. I'll try to be the organizer, but that didn't quite work out last time, due to the short notice. I'll be skiing from the 23-27th, but I can make it for any day after that. January 2nd or 3rd would also work. If the weather is bad, we can just go get pizza or something.

List of people who came to the last meet and should come again!
Ben
Gene
Efren
Leonel
Deni
Bill
Marco
Matt

Also, people who didn't make it to last meet and should come this time!
DanD
Porsche944Boi
Froby944
Elvisizer (If the S is running)
PorscheG96 - I'm sure everyone will want to see that Turbo 968
MikeS
JerryW
Ban944S
Karl Glynn

Anyways, I'll probably be shooting out some PMs later on.

I won't make it for the drive, but I was thinking about starting to pull the motor on my Turbo on the 28th. Anyone interested in coming over and lending me a hand on the 28th or maybe even the 29th? Maybe anyone interested could stop by after the drive on the 28th.

Pizza and beer would be provided of course.

Sorry....not trying to steal the thread here, just trying to gauge the interest in a motor pulling party.

I'd be down for helping you pull the motor, Mike. My 968 head needs to come off, too...headgasket, har! So I'd be inclined to help in order to see the procedure done again before I attempt to tackle mine. And of course to lend help to a local P-car!

OK...started a new thread. Thanks for your help guys....should be fun. I'm hoping it will go fairly quickly....but then again the Porsche gods may have other ideas.

G96....good to see you are still around. I thought you were selling your P-car. Like bill said....welcome to the milk shake club.

I was in the milkshake club 4 years ago when my 944 oil cooler seals began leaking.

My 968 isn't making milkshake, it's just losing a small bit of coolant every time I drive. There aren't any external leaks and when I get on boost I smell coolant...haven't seen smoke yet though. I don't think it's blown, just OLD and leaking.

Should be fun.

I don't know my holiday schedule yet -- I haven't even booked my flight home... If I'm in town, I'll drop in!

Hey welcome back guys. I haven't heard from most of you for awhile.

Whatever happened to our monthly gathering?

Mike count me in. I'll be ready to get down and dirty. I've never pulled an Eng on these cars yet.
