Question ET15 and ET28 for 86' 951???

I found a nice set of 17" wheels and the seller claim ET15(rear) and ET28(front), wheels were from 930turbo.

- Porsche made wheels of ET15????

- Anyone use or heard of this before??

- Will they fit my 86'951 with 23.3 offset?

I have 1.5" spacers for my current Cup2 wheels, just seraching for some wheels that can be used without the need of spacers.

What are the widths? Using 28mm offsets with stock widths should be OK. The one with 15mm offset in stock width would move the outer rim-edge out by about 8mm (1/3"). Those offsets would be OK with stock 7/8" widths.

However, when going to wider rims than stock, it's best to do what Porsche did in going from the Turbo to TurboS. That is, to increase the offset and put most of the extra width on the inside rim-edge so you don't rub the fenders.

I have 13mm offset 16j8 Fuchs on the rear of my NA and it's a tight fit. When I bought the Fuchs they had Hoosier R3SO3s on them, 245 width, I wasn't sure weather to get 225 or 245 street tires so I put 'em on for a test fit. The Hoosiers rubbed just a little at the top of the left rear, nothing that a little fender roll wouldn't fix, but I got the 225s. I've since added a little more rear negative camber so my next set of street tires might be 245s.

I don't know what size rear tire you plan to use, but if I'm that close with 224s or 245s on a 16j8 with that offset, I doubt a 17j9.5 will fit at all.

In the front, I have 16j7 w/ 205s, there's a little (read little) evtra space, a 225 on an 8" wheel should be OK considering the 28mm offset instead of 23mm.

Tks! My search for wheels continues....

Btw, are those OE wheels? They looked like replicas of 16" 968 wheels...
