Has any one ever put the continental tr7412ub-or into their 944 (1989 944 turbo if it makes a difference)? Ive saw people talk about it but I haven't been able to find anyone who has actually done it. Thank you in advance

I did 3 days ago, into my '84. It already had ISO connectors due to the PO so was a trivial install.

I put this in my '77 911S. Actually sounds good especially for the cost, and the bluetooth works smoothly. There is no external microphone connection, and despite this, I have been told that I can be heard while driving and talking on my phone. I would recommend it.

Are you still using your stock speakers or are they upgraded?

Stock speakers in back, but upgraded in the front, old but upgraded. I can imagine it would sound much better with new speakers all around
