Default Early 944 firing order

What is the firing order on my early 1985 944?

I am replacing the spark plug wires and forgot to make notes or take pictures before-hand.

Can I assume the plug closest the front of car is #1 and the one closest to the firewall is #4 ?

Thx!

1-3-4-2 (it's written on the camshaft housing, Zundfolge)
yes front of car is #1, firewall-end is #4
