Did you replace the 944 emblem on the back of the car with a turbo one? That mod alone adds a good 50 hp I think.

I got 80mph out of a chevy vette* going down a hill...what does that prove?

That I was going down a hill....wow. Roll a metro down a big enough hill and I bet I could get a hundo also.

*chevette (it had sport mirrors & a/c)

968 is 236hp/crank, I remember seeing a few of them dyno right in the 190-195 range but that's at the wheels. An S2 should be over 150 but it takes a little longer than a 968 to get there. As far as the mods go, outside of nitrous and forced induction, in order to get CLOSE to that kind of hp out of an NA, you'd need to do more than "some secret mods."

This isn't a 924 automatic with twin turbos, is it?

A metro weighs what, 1700 lbs? 95hp in that is about the same as a stock 944....

Bones, You got me by a minute on the AMAF ref!

A metro might accually do that. What the curb weight on those things 1500lbs max? Mine as well as most of the dynos I have seen on 968.net are more around the 198 hp to 208 at the wheels. like an extra 7 or 8 hp matters that much.

My VW golf did 105 with 60 hp out of a 1.4 liter. This was in germany. This was indicated I'm not sure what that really means
