SoCal, I use the same spray glue that is used when I mount the oil pan gasket. Its a tad tricky but if you have the right angle when performing the "head toss", it will land against the wall with a dull thud..meaning all surfaces hit the wall at teh same time, vs a chattering "tap" when it hits, meaning it landed on one side, and then vibrates itself keeping the glue from sticking. Its just practice man...practice.

John,
So, what happened? New head, or how many valves are replaced on Jonas' engine? What does Jonas mean when he says that you are "rebuilding" his chain tensioner?
I saw your other thread with the nice engine with the red intake / oil pan on the stand. Seems like your shop is "firing on all cylinders", so to speak. Good for you!

Just kidding John. FYI if you set those cams at 1.9mm @ TDC that engine will idle better and the low end torque will be much better. Factory spec is 1.45 mm @ TDC You will get gains up to 1.95. At 2.0MM TDC it all goes south. No valve damage but 2.0 is to much trust me.
