some loser on rennlist.com (vortex of porsches) has a link to this with the title something like "RICERS WITH PORSCHE WHEELS WTF??????? first off vw's arent rice, I admit some vw can be ricey but deff. none on this thread especially when they pimp P wheels Well he has a N/A 944. He's just jelous cause all the VR's will walk him and the P wheels look better on the VW's than on his ride BTW most everyone on rennlist.com supports that all the cars on the thread look good and that VW's arent ricey.

to porsches and cool rennlist poeple
 to loser with na 944 that doesnt know what rice is

Rennlist GUYS Porsche wheels are all the rage in the VW world right now.. post all your old a s s stock porsche wheels on vwvortex.com and im sure youll get a quick sale (BTW thos pics all are from like 1 minute of searching) BE proud that us VW guys LOVE your wheels.. even the HORRID phonedials look good on our cars

THIS IS NOT MY RESPONCE TO THIS THREAD...THIS IS A COPY OF MY ROOMATES POST ON THE VWVORTEX FORUM THAT IS BEING TALKED ABOUT ON THIS THREAD

There's some nice VWs there, but that black GTI with the polished D90s needs to add a set of tires to the package! (Rubber band size tires ARE rice )
And he might be right about the PDs, I'm suprised how good they look on the Rabbit (OK, A1...I started with VW waterpumpers too, before the A2 was even out, but only because I couldn't find a decent deal on a Karmann Ghia at the time), the polished look isn't my thing though. It must just be my age though, back in my VW days we were looking to get that "euro look" by getting RID of the chrome bumpers and hubcaps, black GTI bumpers>chrome Rabbit LS bumpers. Later it became body color Wolf.Ed. Scirocco bumpers>black regular Scirocco bumpers. Both my Sciroccos had Ronal V2s on 'em, body color centers and polished lip.

I'm proud that they like our wheels. Can't we all just be one big happy family, cause that's what we are.

When i got my 944, it came with an extra set of rough phone dials. A hispanic guy that worked for my father at the time who drove an old Dodge Caravan with a speedy gonzalez sticker on the back, flames on the front, and the words, "el Chilango" on the windsheild wanted to purchase my old phone dials. I didn't let him.

I got one of them GTI's, a mighty 02 1.8T currently off insurance and going for the 7th month in the garage as no one wants to buy it and i can't afford the insurance i guesstimate it'll sit there for quite some time at least it's paid off

A2's are the best. light and plenty of engine swap choices.

the cal look craze didnt come on until after 356 production ended. it started in the late 60's, early 70's.

356ers didnt care, they had steel wheels with hub caps. stock vw beetle wheels were steel wheels with.. yup.. hub caps. infact the wheels were exactly the same.. only dif was that one had hub caps with a porsche crest, and the others had hub caps with a vw. i dont think they really had a whole lot to get pissed about
