I am cool with the wheel thing but I am totally lost on the Passat with the 3pc twists. Those wheels are like 3 inches to wide and just look like ***.

Dave the black one the tires arent to short they are much too narrow (otherwise they wont go under the fenders). There is the possibility of the tire de-beading from the rim flange. That look, however, is all the rage in Europe. Pick up a copy of a European BMW mag. 16X10s with 225s, etc. Looks awful to me and I know it to be dangerous.

Chris (Eurospeed) the third pic you posted - what kind of car is that? I see they were able to swap a 944 NA engine into a VW of some sort - makes me wonder what a 951 powered Golf would feel like.
My guess is FUN!
