Great looking cup car!

As Jim mention not Cup car hood and hood locks and intake looks to rough in the surface to be repainted mag intake.

According to technicians from the series I have been told one reason for choosing mag was to aid heat dissipation. My experience is those intakes hold up pretty well against time as long as they still have the paint on them. Sump has as Jim say a tendency to weep some oil but not too bad.

My guess is the car has taken a front end shunt at some time damaging the Cup hood and locks and maybe cracked the intake at such incident. Those races were wild and many had accidents.

Done correct the fenders get painted on the car and that way those fender bolts would have looked better. Also the edge on the front plate over the IC should be satin black. Ofcourse small matters that can pretty easily be corrected on such a nice car.

On the video it seems that it hits the tirewall in a "good" way so hopefully not damaged too bad.

Would love to know more about the car.
