Default Sway bar bushings powerflex for rear M030 Sway

Hi All

Various places offering sway bar bushings for the rear M030 19.3mm sway bar. But which size do you use for this bar? 19 or 20mm urethane bushes? One well known place only offers 18 or 20mm.

If you are posting about the 968 M030 rear sway bar then it's 19mm. 944's came with various different (not 19mm) M030 rear sway bars, that's what might be confusing you. So as long as yours are from a 968 then 19mm urathane bushes are what you need.

I'm posting about the 968 rear M030 sway on my race car - It's 19.3mm. Hence do you clamp down a 20mm or spread a 19mm bush?

Front late model is 30mm, not the rear.

I have the same m030 ready for install and from what I have researched it's the 19 spread. Sorry for the confusion. Good luck!

Use a 19mm bush and some lube if needed to slide it on. The bar is listed as 19mm nominal so a 19mm bush will fit it.

The rear Power Flex bushing will be split so you can get it onto the bar. As others have said, be sure to use a liberal amount of the included lube and put them on. Super easy job.

Be sure to clean out and lube the bolt threads next to the torsion carrier before attempting to remove the mount bolts. If you don't you can bugger up the nuts that are tack welded on. All kinds of dirt and crud will collect up there over the years.
