Glad you got it figured out!!! Duh @Mr Exotherm, I was being lazy and stupid. Starter solenoid! SMH. I know better! Jumped many solenoids in my day, on old cars it was the best way to test of you were in the engine bay and didn't want to keep having to jump in and turn the key!! Then they moved them onto the starter itself..... So became less useful.

@NS_carguy I guess I just had relays on the brain! I've lucked out on starters for both of mine, but thanks for posting up what you found out, you'll likely save me making the same mistake some day!!!!
