Default Another 944S2 walks the earth..

Yep. It's true. Thanks to the immeasurable wealth of information on this board, one more Porsche 944 S2 is running and almost ready to drive. We just need a suspension checkup and we're good to go.

Off the lift for the first time in 2 years. Thanks to all for your help, I'm forever in your debt.

I'd name it after a white horse.

Because,

1) your avatar has a cowboy hat,
2) you live on a mountain
3) you ride it, like a horse
4) horses are cool
5) uhm, nope, that's it, there is no 5

There are a few famous ones, Pegasus, the mythical winged horse but that one is played out.........the Lone Ranger's 'Silver', Hop Along Cassidy's...., well, I forgot his horse's name.
But you need one that will be catchy and strange enough to draw inquiry as to the story behind it.

I vote for Yukichan, Japanese race horse -

Either way, congrats, looks great...., I'll give you $1500 for right it now...

Well, that would have to be "Rhorief" aka "Rory", a grey Arab I owned back in the 80's and 90's. Rory was, at the tender age of 18, nominated to the US National Heavyweight Championship race by the American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC). No small accomplishment if you're a horse.

He died at 34 and so isn't with me any longer. He was a great horse, son of Skwornek, a Polish Arab of distinction. He is missed.

So, short story long?

I used to breed and train horses for racing. I started out with Arabs and later (as I aged appropriately) moved on to Quarter Horses. I have no regrets.

Yes, I was once a jockey. I rode fast horses because I wanted to. Even in 1997 I could get mail faster on horseback than by train, which is why I think I did it; who the h**l really knows why?

Yep. Scott was a pony express rider. I even know the routes. Who would have guessed?
