Talking Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Ah, yes. While I'm sure you guys up north will simply laugh at this, I still happen to love the first snowfall of the year! They're calling for 3-6" by tomorrow. Not a lot, but probably enough to at least delay work tomorrow, if not close it.

Fortunately, I was able to stock up on all of the necessary winter weather supplies (read: beer and steak).

BB.

Yeah, it can get pretty gross out here. On the plus side, it is fun watching the SUV-Capades...

That's the worst. When it snows, it needs to go all out or nothing. Otherwise it's just a waste and messy.

110 Cm in Whistler now, skiing into the village already (actually from Day One 2 weeks ago) and there's a blizzard outside right now with a forecast of 15-30 Cms every day for the next 4 days.... guess I have to go ski some more tomorrow!

man, out here in colorado, we get soccer moms with SUV-godism. they think they are god, and drive over the speed limit on ice. it's scary. for instance:

last time it snowed (about 2 weeks ago) I was driving on a sheet of ice. since the engines in our cars (yes, the Porsche) is quite torquey, I was fighting off spinning even with the snows on. this guy in a raised, Dodge Ram pickup comes HAULIN *** up behind me. I'm in the left lane. a minivan in the right. I"m goin faster than the van. Anyway, he's tailgating me. like, REALLY tailgating me. once there is room for him to cut off the minivan, he hits the gas and swerves around me, missing me by what seemed to me like inches. Pissed off, I layed on the horn and gave him the bird, so what does he do? he swerves over right in front of me to cut me off the worst I have ever been. I was thinking to myself, "Yeah @$$ hole. I can't wait to see you rolled over in a ditch".

When you come to Colorado, please realize, we have the worst drivers in the country. so be careful. and even better, after hundreds of close calls (some caused by me) I still have no accidents.

Weird indeed. I haven't burned any bees since middle school!

Anyway, there is definately a bit more snow out this morning. Fortunately, it's suprisingly light and fluffy, so it was easy to shovel.

...it's really only about 2/3 of a beer bottle deep. Not too bad...
