what happened to your winter cars engine ??
It started sounding "klank-klank-klank" after an enthousiastic run.. No worries though.. I've got my hands on a spare engine, just waiting for my mechanic to swap it in.. Have waited for a while now and can't wait to get it done..

Anders, that is one great winter car
Wait you guys, until I post a few pics of my "new" toy;
MY 81 Volvo 240 Turbo, original factory turbo that is !!
I just got back from the registration office, and now it is officially mine,
and approved and with brand new EU-licence plates

It still is pretty much fun to drive, rwd, lsd, power steering and turbo (well hey, can you own a car without it )

It bet I will have a blast once it starts snowing..

Hey, I learned to drive in a Volvo 740 turbo with around 200hp. Great fun, especially on gravel roads. Had it up to 240 km/h this summer and was then reminded of how nice brakes it doesn't have.

My dad still has it, 320.000 km's on the original clutch. That's about 200k miles for you non-metric guys.

Heh, we also have a 740 station wagon MY 89, but it only has 2.0 liter engine with automatic gear box and NO turbo, not exactly a rocket.. ..
My father drives it. But my 240 T IS a real "formula one"..

I'm coming to Stockholm on the 19th of december to buy an V40 Volvo T4 for a family car (that 240 is just my weekend toy) for me and my gf.

That will be the third Volvo in our family..weird..

I can strongly recommend not to you to get a S/V40T4, they don't have very good reputation and the build quality is nothing like the old tanks.
