I recently dug out an old copy of Star craft while home ill for two days. Thinking I would lay back in bed and just goof around on the laptop. Man was I wrong!!!!

I completely forgot how addicting this game is. Are there any Starcraft addicts out there who still play or would consider playing a battle up on battlenet?

just hooked up the home LAN and am kicking my dad's *** at Warcraft 2. Starcraft is too complicated for him right now..

War2 is fun nonetheless..

usually when me and my friends start playing we get addicted to playing it everyday at school on the network. Sometimes when i go home i play it on battlenet. I am not the greatest at it though

Has anyone here played Total Annihilation? Came out in 97 I think, loaded it up on my desktop and renewed my addiction.

my record on WC3 battle next was 450-83.. and i had like around an 86% win percentage.. I was addicted and good

I quit because it was affecting my life. and pretty much ruining it.. I played for hours a day ect. I have not touched any video games in months, and instead have switched my hobby to porches

TA was fun, and it had a non-buggy Mac version, so it was really popular at my old job's office. i used to kick my boss's *** all the time in that game. the unit balance is a little wacky, though.

I liked the unique individual unit commands in TA, I'd like to see that in more RTS games, gave it an extra element of strategy.

Another RTS I liked but didn't get to play much was KKND, that had some fun innovations.

My favorite is still StarCraft though.

As for the first person games, I really wish Quake had an online server database like CS does, then it'd be easy to find games and I'd play it more.
