Default Vibrating Shifter??

Is this a sign of dead engine mounts?? ITs not bad, but annoying.
The shifter just vibrates when I hold on on to it. hmmm

Any ideas?

is this an oem or aftermarket shifter?
the reason i ask is after i replaced my **** and boot with one from a boxster, it started to vibrate at about 2800 rpm in 3rd and 5th gear.
some comments i've heard say the new **** is lighter and more prone to picking up vibration from the drive train... this winter i plan on removing it and filling it with molten lead... no kidding.. i'll report back next spring when its back on the road again...
have fun

mine vibrates a decent amount, more so when im not holding it and the rpms come up a little. I dont have the inner boot so the noise is even worse than it would be. but i was wondering on this too, could it just be loose linkage?

Can be from bad motor mount or bad torque tube bearings.
