Question short throw shifter 1984 944 n/a

Has anyone here installed an aftermarket short throw shifter? How about a porsche short throw? I know that porsche made a limited number of these and have seen a few up for sale. More importantly, I am curious if any of you guys have installed or had a shifter installed, and what recommendations you can make to someone looking to purchase one. I would like something with a shorter throw than stock.
I have looked into the B&M shifter as well as the KOKELN, however I want to hear pro's and con's from people that have used them. If you have any suggestions for other compaines please, let me know. Also, if anyone knows of places to get killer deals on these products please let me know.

Thanks,
Scott

Search the 951/Turbo forum for short shifter, there have been some excellent short shifter discussions in the past few months, including great directions on how to modify your stock lever to give the same results.

I believe TWEEKS sell's a short throw shifter for like $150 made by Weltmeister...Don't have one and I Don't plan on ever needing one...Although I have a bunch of Ricer Buddy's who all have these short throw shifter's and it is nice, altough in the long run in my mind if you can drive well you won't need it...Spend the money on something else, like some 968 door handles...
