I will host a PGR2 - Rennlist server tonight at 6:30pm PST. I don't have a headset to communicate so if anyone wants to volunteer to host the server instead then post here. Otherwise I will have it up.

I will start out on Nurburgring so that folks can find it, server will be named Rennlist. Just put Nurburgring in your filter and scroll down the list. Hope to see you there.

 

Id love to, but dont have any ethernet cable. (wireless setup) and our satellite modem runs usb cables to computer 1, then a tiny bit of cat5 to the linksys. Ill go get some and be ready next time.

 

No prob, it was short notice. I just want to get the ball rolling and have some Rennlist servers available to race on.

If no one can make it tonight that's fine, we'll set up another one next weekend or something.

Do you need Xbox live to play it on a server you are hosting? Just got the game this week, but haven't signed up for live yet.

 

i love pgr2. especially on xbox live. so im in whenever you wanna play.

is your xbox live name Rennlist? cuz otherwise how are you setting a custom name for your game? your name must be rennlist, congrats on getting that one. if you ever see OperatorS on xbox live thats me, feel free to add me to your friends list and invite me to a game on there if you're ever one. I seem to be pretty good considering i've only had the game for 2 weeks. that game is way too much fun

 

Is this out for the PC yet?

Sam, if you're running on satallite, you don't want to be playing any
online games. The latency between the time you do something and the
time the server recieves the move is terrible!!

 

won't ever be out on pc, its an XBOX only game.. and the first PGR never came out for PC so don't hold your breath for the second one to ever come out for PC. This game is so fun it's worth buying an XBOX for it

Op - I didn't realize the server name would be the same as my user name until tonight. Anyway it is 'PorscheG96' so you guys will still find it. If I see ya I will add you to my buddies.

ILP - You get a card w/ 2 month free membership for XBox Live in PGR2. Just enter live from your PGR2 multiplayer menu, hook up your box to ethernet [I used a hub to run my PC as well], scratch off the back of the card to get the free 2 month code, and fill out the registration in PGR2. Takes 10 min. See you next weekend for some online racing!!

Well I was only home a week for thanksgiving, so I didn't want to register it to that Xbox. Plus, at home, everything is on a wireless network and I didn't feel like dropping another $100 on the adapter. Anyway, do you know if I can log on to my Xbox Live account from any Xbox, or just the one I made it on?

 

If I can figure out how to hook it up I'll try to show up. I have played Halo on Xbconnect, but thats all. I still need to get to the next class of cars, ultimate.
