Default OT: Ever seen the 911 Stockholm Getaway Video?

I saw this video a few years ago, and I just stumbled across it tonight
while looking for Porsche videos on Kazaa.

It appears to be a 911 that for one reason or another gets pulled over
by a couple of cops in a van, with a hand held stopsign. Kinda funny
that.

But then, with cameras mounted for, aft, and passenger fender (behind
wheel), they bolt from being pulled over and just open it up in
Stockholm.

Honestly, those little city streets were too small for the power in
this car. You could tell the guy was just bumping the gas most of
the time.

Anywho, I have the video, and I'd be happy to share it, but I don't have
110MB of web space to stash it. If you have Kazaa, the file name I
found it under is: 911_Stockholm_Getaway.mpeg

What really gets me about the video is the SOUND! Renn, renn, vroom!

LOL.

Yes it's late. I should go to bed now.

It's an awsome video. The end really gets me, he just parks in the driveway in plane sight. (Sorry if you haven't seen it yet)

I noticed it, but I thought that's how that lighthouse was supposed to
spin. Is it not? I honeslty don't know if Euro lighthouses are as slow
as US ones.

I still haven't checked it yet, but if the video were sped up, the work done to make the sound sync would be tremendous. I'm sure we could all detect an idle that was a few megahertz higher than it should be.

No, it's really easy honestly. He has at least three cameras going.
He only needs sound from one of them, and some creative editing later
on to make up for the time shift.

It honestly sounds like it's end to end one cut. I could be sped up,
but it doesn't feel like it.

Yeah, but it's still a nice video
The later ones might be technically better, but they don't have Porsches...

I'm not sure, but it seems like in some scenes where they're showing the right front wheel view, it looks like sparkles are flying off the brakes when he's slowing down...

You're right about the guys pulling the 911 over, they are not cops.
But it's NOT speeded! Actually the light spins that fast!
I live in Stockholm, in fact, I live about 1-2 kilometers away from that area so I know what I'm talking about

I've had this video for quite some time....very cool and it's not sped up. Yes, since the cops are fake, he could park it quite anywhere he wanted as they got lucky and didn't actually run into any.

He is pushing that car pretty good a few times there and gets the rear end loose a bit.

Yes, watching the hot brake pad/rotor particles coming off is very cool!!!

Well, high speed runs have been done in Japan (F40 and guy got busted big time for going about 200mph on the highway from his video since he put his face in it and was selling them...sheesh...). Keep the plate hidden and don't show your face. It could be done here. Same kind of luck about not running into the real police would have to apply though. But I've got some roads around here where unless I was going over 80 or so on them (35mph) then they wouldn't even look twice at me (I know...I've had it happen several times) and I could do something similar to that by keeping to those roads.

Duke, thanks for backing that up. I was pretty sure it's not sped up
as the feel of the ground and trees going past doesn't look "Keystone
Cops" like it would if sped up.

I didn't know anything about those guys not being cops though.
