Yes, the job market does suck. I looked for quite a while for a NT/Network Admin position but there was nothing. I even looked at the ones paying pennies and never recieved a call back. So much for having a Masters Degree. I finally found a job as a PHP programmer (Even though all I knew was ASP). I only found this one because a good friend of mine recommended me.

Remember, it is not what you know but who that matters most.

To those of you in College, NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK.
A few minutes of Kiss A$$ and friend finding will go a long way later on if you ever need a favor, or a JOB!!!

We celebrate Thanksgiving holidays early in October up here, but out of respect I took the afternoon off anyway.

Work isn't all that it's cracked-up to be. I always like to tell everyone that
work's a four-letter word. I guess the only thing worse than working for
someone else is not woking at all.

I'm seven month's into the first year of a new job. The first year's probationary. So, they can fire me without cause for another five months.
So, I've been rolling with the punches. In the last three months they transfered me from LA to Seattle. They also changed the equipment on which I work, sending me back to training for another two months. So, this year, I've been away from the family for more that six months. Right now, I'm sitting in the training center watching the Seattle rain through the windows. Mean while the wife and kids are at the in-laws.

Mean while, the 944 is sitting back in my garage in need of a valve job and some other repairs. But, that's OK. It'll only be my garage for another month. After that, the new tenants of my condo want the garage back. I've got to figure out how to get it to Seattle. My employer will give me mileage or pay to move it by water. The mileage would barely cover gas if it was running. Can I put it on a boat from San diego to Seattle?

So, like I like to say, work's a four-letter word-

I work 24/7 straight up. Cash is sweet so why stop working. Success is an unfaithful girlfriend so once you’re in keep mashing.

I'm working today. 2 jobs....still haven't done the second one yet. However since almost none of the customers for one job are open today (our customers are county/city government offices), I'm sitting at home in my sweats. Cleaned up my room some, surfed the web, watched some car videos, etc. Of course, I do the last two when I'm at work for my day job when it's a quiet day.

Got to actually go into the office in the morning for my regular 5 hour Saturday though. Guess I'll just watch a movie or something to get rid of part of it....
